Schools

Receive free global citizenship presentations at your school!

We want to give something back to the schools that help us by delivering fun and interactive global citizenship presentations.  Even if you have yet to get involved with READ, why not request an assembly presentation to find out more about us and the ways you can get involved?  Click here to hear from schools who have worked with READ in the past.

What can we offer?

We have developed a series of interactive global citizenship presentations, with the support of experienced teachers, that aim to cover the global aspects of the citizenship curriculum.  They cater for a range of abilities and learning styles and open young people's minds to global issues, promote student volunteering, young enterprise, recycling and the importance of education.

Our School Speakers are trained by READ and Oxfam to deliver assembly presentations, run lesson long workshops or work with your students for a whole day.  Click here to find out more.

Why?

We want to encourage young people to become actively involved in their global community, by providing the resources and support required for you and your students to engage with READ's work.  We hope that this, along with our interactive presentations and emphasis on feedback, will encourage students to become valuable members of their local, national and global communities and create change in their world.
