6 New Projects on board

As READ International grows and develops we are happy to welcome 6 new READ Book Projects on board for 2008/9 and 2 new interns to help to coordinate them - welcome Tanya and Leila!

The additional projects have started in Norwich, Sussex, Kent, Newcastle and West and Central London.

We are also happy to have initiated collaborations between university projects, such as Liverpool John Moores and Liverpool University, which means we now have a total of 22 universities involved with READ International.

As our teams of volunteers across the UK expand, so do our goals. This year we aim to send 315,000 textbooks to Tanzania, our largest ever shipment to date.
